16 Oct Green Earth Announces Three New Commercial Construction Project Awards
Green Earth Commercial Contracting Company has secured three new project awards in Alabama, Florida, and Texas, continuing its work with national clients across multiple markets. The projects include two assignments for Ferguson, a longstanding client, and a new ground-up retail development for Verizon Wireless.
Each project brings a different scope of construction, from adapting existing commercial facilities to developing a new retail location.
Ferguson Interior Buildout | Loxley, Alabama
Green Earth has been awarded the interior buildout of an existing Ferguson facility in Loxley, Alabama. The project will transform the interior space to accommodate several functions within one facility, supporting both customer-facing activities and daily business operations.
The scope includes the development of office spaces, a retail sales counter, dedicated training facilities, and warehouse operations. The buildout will require coordination of these areas to provide appropriate circulation, functional workspaces, and access between the facility’s administrative, retail, and operational components.
Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2026.
Green Earth is excited to once again work with Ferguson, having successfully completed several projects for the company. This latest award continues an established working relationship built through previous commercial construction assignments.
The project design team includes:
- Architectural Design: Method Architecture, LLC
- MEP & Structural Engineering: Salas O’Brien
Ferguson Sales Counter Expansion | Orlando, Florida
Green Earth has also been awarded a sales counter expansion project for Ferguson in Orlando, Florida.
The project will focus on expanding the facility’s customer-facing sales counter area to better accommodate commercial transactions and support day-to-day operations. The work will involve improvements to the existing space, with an emphasis on integrating the expanded sales area into the facility’s current layout and operational requirements.
Construction is anticipated to begin November 30, 2026.
With multiple Ferguson projects already completed, Green Earth welcomes another opportunity to support the company’s facility needs and continue a productive relationship with its team.
Verizon Wireless | Cypress, Texas
Green Earth has been awarded the ground-up construction of a new 2,464-square-foot freestanding Verizon Wireless retail building in Cypress, Texas.
Unlike the Ferguson interior improvement projects, this assignment involves constructing a new commercial facility and completing the associated site development.
The scope includes the building’s construction and interior buildout, with designated retail sales and support areas designed to accommodate Verizon’s customer service and operational needs.
Exterior improvements will include parking areas, landscaping, site infrastructure, and associated utility connections. These components will require coordination between building construction and site development to deliver a completed retail property.
Construction is anticipated to begin in October 2026.
The project design team includes:
- Architecture: DKLEVY Architecture + Design
- Civil Engineering: ALJ Lindsey Civil Engineers
Building on Established Relationships and New Opportunities
These three awards add to Green Earth’s growing portfolio of commercial construction projects, demonstrating the company’s ability to support clients with different facility requirements across multiple locations.
The continued relationship with Ferguson is particularly meaningful, as repeat assignments provide opportunities to build on established collaboration and familiarity with the client’s operational needs. At the same time, the Verizon Wireless project adds another ground-up retail development to Green Earth’s portfolio.
Green Earth appreciates the trust placed in its team and looks forward to collaborating with the project owners, design professionals, and trade partners as construction moves forward.
