21 Sep A New Chapter for the Bay Indies Clubhouse

Green Earth has completed construction of the new Bay Indies Clubhouse in Venice, Florida, bringing an important gathering place back to the Bay Indies community.

The original clubhouse was a flagship amenity in the ELS portfolio and long served as a central destination for residents. After a fire in 2023 destroyed the facility, ELS partnered with Green Earth and RRW to create a new clubhouse that would carry forward the character of the original while introducing updated spaces and amenities for residents.

The result is a 12,887-square-foot clubhouse built over one of the community’s lakes, making its waterfront setting an integral part of the new facility. Just over 10,000 square feet of interior space is complemented by a large deck overlooking the lake and a porte-cochère entrance.

Inside, residents have access to an open-air atrium, gathering room, craft and game rooms, warming kitchen, library, and multiple club rooms. The spaces were designed to accommodate resident activities and events while once again giving the community a central place to spend time together.

Throughout the project, preserving the natural character and welcoming atmosphere associated with the original clubhouse remained an important part of the vision. The new design builds on that connection while providing a facility created to serve Bay Indies well into the future.

For Green Earth, completing the project represents more than the delivery of a new building. It marks the return of a community centerpiece and the culmination of a collaborative effort with ELS, RRW, and the Bay Indies community.
